H&K counsels Multiva on $22m loan to Mexican state of Coahuila
Holland & Knight has counselled Banco Multiva, a full-service bank, on two loans granted to the Mexican state of Coahuila, for an amount of US$22 million (approximately MXN$450 million).
The deal was closed on 29 March, where Banco Multiva was selected as the lender by the state through a public bidding process.
The entity will use the loan to cover short-term needs and temporary liquidity shortfalls. The loans were granted in accordance with the Ley de Disciplina Financiera para las Entidades Federativas y los Municipios (Financial Discipline Law for Federal Entities and Municipalities).
