Holland & Knight adds disputes partner from Dentons in Bogota
Holland & Knight announced that Alberto Zuleta has joined the law firm in Bogota as a partner.
He joins from Dentons Cardenas & Cardenas and is now tasked with heading the local dispute resolution practice group at Holland & Knight.
Alberto Zuleta received a JD from Universidad de los Andes, a graduate degree in International Contracts from the same university in Colombia and an LLM from Harvard Law School. He has more than 20 years of experience in the areas of litigation, arbitration and antitrust law.
“Alberto is a highly-regarded and versatile lawyer who will significantly enhance our office’s litigation capabilities,” said Enrique Gomez-Pinzón, executive partner of Holland & Knight’s Bogotá office, in a statement. “We have seen a large increase in litigation work, especially in the areas of commercial, contracts and tort matters. We expect Alberto to contribute greatly to the success of these matters and help lead our team going forward.”
Holland & Knight launched its Bogotá office n 2012 and now has more than 45 attorneys.
