Holland & Knight adds litigation head from Baker McKenzie in Mexico
Holland & Knight announced that Salvador Fonseca has joined the firm as partner in Mexico City.
Fonseca received a law degree from the University of Guadalajara in Mexico, an LLM degree from New York University School of Law, and has also completed post graduate studies at Universidad Panamericana. He has over 20 years of experience representing corporate and individual clients in complex international and domestic arbitration and litigation. Fonseca has also served as sole arbitrator and chairman of arbitral tribunals under the UNCITRAL, ICC, CANACO, CAM and other rules.

Prior to the move, he was the head of the litigation and arbitration practice group in Baker McKenzie’s Mexico City office.
Holland & Knight launched in Mexico City in 2013. It now includes 30 attorneys, including seven partners. The firm has been in a hiring spree during the last 12 months, adding key partners in Bogota, Miami and Mexico City.
