Holland & Knight advises Banco Santander on Oasis Group loan

Holland & Knight in Mexico has represented Banco Santander México on the restatement of a term loan of $210 million to Magaluf, the operator of The Pyramid at Grand Oasis Cancún and Oasis Cancún Lite hotels.

Alejandro Landa Thierry of H&KHolland & Knight had also represented Santander in the initial structuring and closing of the deal in January 2018. 

The term loan remained structured as a syndicate club deal. Santander acted as arranger, administrative agent and lender, while the syndicate of lenders comprised Santander, BBVA Bancomer, Banco Nacional de México, Banco Monex and and Sabcapital.

The transaction closed on June 10.
