Holland & Knight advises Fibra UNO on notes issuance

Holland & Knight has advised Mexico’s largest real estate investment trust Fibra UNO on its international offering of $650 million in senior notes.

Guillermo Uribe Lara H&KThe issuance includes the reopening of up to $375 million at 4.950 per cent yield to maturity, due in 2030, and $275 million at 6.250 per cent yield to maturity, due in 2050.

Both were issued in accordance with Rule 144A and Regulation S under the US Securities Act of 1933. The offering took place on July 15.

The successful offering was oversubscribed, exceeding the initial target amount of $500 million.

“This placement is proof of the continued quality of the issuer and confidence of investors despite the global difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the clean and effective execution of banks,” Guillermo Uribe Lara, the Mexico City-based partner who led the Holland & Knight team, said.

BofA Securities, Citigroup Global Markets, BBVA Securities, HSBC Securities (USA), Actinver Securities, Credit Suisse Securities (USA), Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Securities LLC and Santander Investment Securities acted as book runners.

Holland & Knight’s team also included partner Adrian Gay Lasa and associates Jorge González Carlini, Santiago Soldevilla Gutiérrez and Mirna Ordaz Avilés in Mexico City, and partner Stephen Double and associate Julia de la Parra in New York
