Holland & Knight secures $61m loan for Mexico’s Sonora state

Holland & Knight has advised Banco Multiva on two loans to the Mexican state of Sonora through the Ministry of Finance of an aggregate amount of 1.3 billion pesos (approximately $61 million).  

SonoraBanco Multiva was selected as the lender to the state of Sonora through a competitive bidding process.

The loans will be used to finance public investments such as roads and bridges; infrastructure for security and law enforcement; infrastructure for health projects; rehabilitation, modernization and expansion of hydraulic network projects; and other projects and public spaces in the state of Sonora (pictured).
