Honorato Delaveau advises Innergex on the acquisition of Energía Llaima for 71m

Honorato Delaveau has assisted Innergex renewable Energy SpA in the acquisition of Energía Llaima for $71.35 million

 Honorato Delaveau has advised Innergex Renewable Energy SpA, a subsidiary of Canada’s Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. which has become the sole shareholder of Chilean renewable energy company Energía Llaima SpA, on the acquisition of the remaining 50% of Energía Llaima for $71.35 million US dollars.

Innergex completed the acquisition by paying the price to the sellers through an issue of 4,048,215 common shares of Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. As a result of this transaction, the company has owned and operates three hydroelectric plants in Chile with a gross installed capacity of 152 MW, a solar thermal plant with a capacity of 34 MW, as well as various other projects.

Innergex Renewable Energy is a developer, owner and operator of hydro, wind and solar farms in North America.

Energía Llaima is one of the leading Chilean companies in the implementation of solar thermal plants for heat generation and replacement of fossil fuel boilers in industry and mining.
