Hunton Andrews Kurth adds counsel with Latin America expertise

Hunton Andrews Kurth has appointed Christian Rudloff (pictured) as new counsel in its New York office to strengthen its Latin America, finance, project development and energy practices.

Rudloff specialises in the development and financing of international and infrastructure projects. He advises global corporations and financial institutions as sponsors, suppliers, contractors, borrowers and lenders in the acquisition and disposition of assets in the energy, oil and gas, infrastructure and mining and metals sectors, with a particular focus on cross-border transactions in Latin America. His practice focuses on project contracts related to the development and operation of each individual project within the applicable industry parameters.

Prior to joining the firm, he was of counsel in Shearman & Sterling’s Project Finance and Development Group. He is a graduate in Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, holds an LLM from Northwestern University School of Law, and a JD equivalent degree from Universidad Diego Portales, School of Law.

Christian is admitted to practice law in New York, Chile and Mexico.
