Infracorp moves to acquire control of Orygen Perú

Skadden has advised Infracorp, an affiliate of the Grupo Romero Investment Office (GRIO), in its agreement to acquire from Actis 100% of the equity interests of Niagara Generation, the controlling shareholder of Orygen Perú, an independent power producer in the country.

The transaction means a significant step for Infracorp’s expansion in the energy and infrastructure sector and is currently pending regulatory approval.

The Skadden team advising Infracorp is based in New York and was led by M&A partner Paola Lozano (pictured), with support from associates Daniel Hernández and Emilia Arango, and international visiting professional Carolina Fiuza.
