Jones Day advised Group 1 Automotive, Inc., a (NYSE: GPI), on its sale to Original Holdings S.A

Jones Day advised Group 1 Automotive, Inc., (NYSE: GPI), an international automotive retailer, on the sale of 100% of its Brazilian business to Original Holdings S.A., an affiliate of Simpar S.A., a publicly traded company in Brazil, for BRL 510 million (approximately US$100 million).

Group 1 owns and operates 190 automotive dealerships, 247 franchises, and 49 collision centers in the United States, United Kingdom, and Brazil, offering 32 car brands.

The Jones Day team was led by Wade Angus (New York/Sao Paulo) (pictured), and included Violeta Libergott (Sao Paulo), Jack Ubbing (Cleveland), and Mariana Apollaro (Sao Paulo).
