Jones Day instructed on oil and gas engineering JV in Mexico

Jones Day advised Wood Group on joint venture negotiations with Grupo Diavaz, for the provision of engineering services related to midstream and upstream oil and gas facilities in Mexico. 

Wood Group is a UK-headquartered international energy services company. Grupo Diavaz provides integral services and solutions to the oil industry in Mexico. Their new joint venture is expected to capitalize on Mexico’s energy reform and will provide engineering, procurement and construction management services to onshore and offshore facilities, and pipelines for the upstream and midstream oil & gas markets in the country. 

Mexico City-based partner Antonio Franck led the Jones Day team advising Wood Group.
