Kennedys adds four-lawyer team in Peru
Insurance specialist law firm Kennedys announced it had hired four lawyers from Barrios & Fuentes Abogados in Peru.
The new team is set to expand the firm’s litigation capabilities. It includes partner Tabata Arteta and associates Pablo Espinoza, Micaela Aleman and Kristian Cifelli. With the latest arrivals, the Peruvian office of Kennedys is now home to two partners and ten lawyers.
Arteta has relevant experience as a litigator, particularly on the banking, energy, insurance and healthcare sectors. She is also an arbitrator at the Center of Arbitration of the Chamber of Commerce of Lima and at the International Center of Arbitration of the Peruvian – American Chamber of Commerce (Amcham).
Kennedys has bulked up its capabilities in Latin America since arriving in the region in 2016. It now has offices in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru in addition to a growing presence in Miami, which was launched in 2010.
