Kennedys partners with López del Solar and Tobar ZVS

Kennedys has expanded in Latin America with two new partner offices in Bolivia and Ecuador

 Global law firm Kennedys expands its presence in Latin America by partnering with López del Solar in Bolivia and Tobar ZVS in Ecuador. For the firm, these represent the fifth and sixth partnerships in the region, where it already has offices in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru, and associate offices in the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Panama and Puerto Rico.

López del Solar was founded over 40 years ago, has 15 employees and has many of the region’s insurance and reinsurance companies as clients, providing Corporate Law, Risk Management and Claims Handling services. The firm is headed by insurance specialist Alfonso López del Solar, who in addition to his experience in advising insurance and reinsurance companies, is Honorary Consul of Belgium.

“Bolivia has a growing insurance market, and we see real opportunities to work more closely with Kennedys to deliver services for clients both in Bolivia and across the region”, said Alfonso López del Solar.

For its part, Tobar ZVS has eight partners and 30 lawyers working in various Corporate areas. Its highly regarded insurance unit is headed by partner René De Sola. The department has more than 18 years of experience in the insurance sector, offering the full range of insurance services, as well as corporate services, such as Mergers and Acquisitions with insurance companies.
