KLA announces head of AI and technology as new partner
KLA announced that, as of January 2026, lawyer Ana Carolina Cesar (pictured) will join the firm’s partnership. At KLA since 2019, she heads the Data Protection, Intellectual Property, and KLAI (KLA’s Artificial Intelligence hub) departments. Ana Carolina leads complex projects involving Artificial Intelligence, Technology Transactions, and Data Governance.
Her expertise covers regulated and dynamic sectors, advising players in the betting, gaming, media, and entertainment markets, with a strong presence in the creator economy (influencers and digital advertising).
She is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), a recognized specialist by OneTrust DataGuidance, and has earned distinction in the Artificial Intelligence Policy program at the Center for AI and Digital Policy (CAIDP).
Ana Carolina holds a Professional Master’s Degree in Law and Management from the Catholic University of Portugal and an MBA in Information Technology Management from FIAP.
