Larrain y Asociados and M&B advise on the issuance of Banco de Chile’s new financing contract

Larrain y Asociados and Morales y Besa have assisted in the issuance of new financing contracts and the modification of existing financings

 Larrain y Asociados has advised Banco de Chile, as agent bank of the syndicate of creditors formed by Banco de Chile, Itaú Corpbanca and Banco del Estado de Chile, in the execution of a new financing agreement between the syndicate of creditors and Ruta de la Araucanía Sociedad Concesionaria S.A., for a total amount of 600,000 UF, (approximately $24,642,813 US dollars), as well as in the modification of the existing financing between the concessionaire and the syndicate of banks.

Morales & Besa advised the concessionaire and holder of the concession Ruta 5 Collipulli-Temuco section.

The transaction was closed on 17 May and included the modification and extension of the guarantees of the operation, among which are the modifications of: collection mandates, the pledge on shares, the pledge on concession, and the pledge on money.
