Larrain y Asociados assists CHL Capital in purchase of EMSA

Larrain y Asociados Abogados has assisted CHL Capital in the acquisition of the shares of Embotelladora Metropolitana (EMSA) from Inversiones Andalucía.

This transaction was closed on 1 September, where NLD Abogados acted as advisor to EMSA.

EMSA is a producer and marketer of soft drinks and mineral water under the brands Rari, Piri, Ship, among others. Prior to the closing of the transaction, EMSA divested its “Volcanes del Sur” beer line to Compañía de Cervecerías Unidas (CCU).

Larrain’s team included partners Patricio Montes (pictured left) and Juan de Dios Ferrada (pictured right) and associates José Francisco Spoerer, and Diego de la Barra.

NLD’s team consisted of partners Paulo Larrain and Manola Quiroz, and associates Bernardita Calvo and María Sofía Jiménez.
