Larrain y Asociados counsels Banco de Chile on contract modification
Larrain y Asociados has advised Banco de Chile in the modification of a contract for an amount of 32 million dollars
Larrain y Asociados has counselled Banco de Chile, in its capacity as agent bank of the syndicate of creditors formed by Banco de Chile, Banco de Crédito e Inversiones, Banco del Estado de Chile, Banco Consorcio, Compañía de Seguros de Vida Consorcio Nacional de Seguros S.A., Principal Compañía de Seguros de Vida Chile S.A., Metlife Chile Seguros de Vida S.A., Compañía Seguros Confuturo S.A. and Bice Vida Compañía Seguros S.A., in the fifth amendment to the financing agreement entered into between the syndicate of creditors and Sociedad Concesionaria Vespucio Oriente S.A., for a total amount of 800,000 UF.
This deal had a value of approximately $32,857,084 US dollars and was closed on 13 May.
The transaction included the modification of the guarantees of the operation, among which are the modifications of: collection mandates, the pledge over relevant contracts, subordination agreements, the pledge over shares, the pledge over concession and the pledge over money.
