The Latin American Lawyer September-October issue is now available for free download

Spanish cover is dedicated to the interview with Alberto García Linera, managing associate at Linklaters, who will be heading the new group focused on México.

Meanwhile, the Brazilian cover features the successful professional Diolimar García, who spoke to us about her trajectory and the challenges she faces having reached the position of corporate director of Alarms Business, Digital Transformation and Global Projects at the international security and innovation company, Prosegur.

In both versions, the mag offers a summary of the V edition of the Legalcommunity week, held in Milan between 5 and 9 July, which featured the participation of important figures from the Legal sector and concluded with the presentation of the Legalcommunity Italian Awards.

It also features an opinion article to know more about good environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices by Hudson Couto in the Portuguese version.

We travelled to the Dominican Republic with the World Compliance Association for this edition’s compliance dossier, as well as to Venezuela, with the collaboration of Diana Trías Bertorelli, executive director of the Arbitration Centre of the Caracas Chamber of Commerce.

The Latin American Lawyer highlights the recovery of the Legal market with the most relevant transactions and signings of the last months in Latin America, while, for the Spanish version, we put special focus on transactions related to the Mining industry.

Last but not least, in the Spanish version, we added two interviews conducted by the teams of the group’s Italian magazine, MAG, as well as for the Iberian version, Iberian Lawyer: one with Bertrand Schapiro, director of Ardian Growth, and other with Marcello Dolores, vice president of Legal and Regulatory Affairs for Southern Europe at Discovery Networks International.
