Lawyer Rodrigo Lins e Silva Candido de Oliveira dies
Galdino & Coelho, Pimenta, Takemi, Ayoub Advogados has sadly announced the death of its partner and friend, lawyer Rodrigo Lins e Silva Candido de Oliveira (pictured), died last Saturday (16/03) at the age of 57.
Rodrigo was a member of the Arbitration Commission of the Federal Council of the OAB and a member of the Arbitration, Civil Procedure and Electoral Law Commissions of the OAB/RJ. He was a counselor and member of the OAB/RJ Ethics and Discipline Court and director of the Brazilian Lawyers Institute (IAB) in 2008/2010.
In 2011, he was nominated by the OAB and elected by the full STJ to compose, in first place, the triple list to fill the vacancy of minister destined for the Constitutional Quinto.
He was also on the list of arbitrators of the FGV Chamber of Conciliation and Arbitration.
The Rio de Janeiro branch of the OAB and the Brazilian Lawyers Institute (IAB) also expressed their deep sorrow at his death.
