Lefosse Advogados advised Bunge on the acquisition of 33.3% of the agricultural inputs distributor Sinagro, represented by TozziniFreire Advogados and BMA – Barbosa, Müssnich Aragão Advogados

Bunge acquired 33.3% of the agricultural inputs distributor Sinagro. The purchase, whose value was not disclosed, must be submitted for approval by the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE).

The transaction is another initiative by Bunge in its strategy to consolidate itself as one of the leaders in the agribusiness sector.

In the market for more than 20 years, Sinagro is a reference in the agribusiness chain in the Brazilian cerrado (the central-western and part of the northeastern regions of Brazil) with a focus on solutions for agricultural production, in the segments of pesticides, fertilizers, seed and grain sales, including sales and export operations.

Lefosse Advogados had partners Zeca Berardo (pictured top left), Christian Roschmann (pictured top right) and Juliana Daniel (pictured bottom left) and associates Fabiane Ortiz, Laisa de Sousa Lucas and Elen Lizas.
