Lefosse advises Treecorp on sale of Zee.Dog shares to Petz

Treecorp Investimentos on the sale of shares of Zee.Dog to Petz, in a R$715 million transaction

 Lefosse Advogados advised private equity fund manager Treecorp Investimentos on the sale of shares issued by Zee.Dog, a brand of premium products aimed at pets with outstanding performance in e-commerce, in the sale to Petz, the market leader in the sector, in a transaction of R$715 million.

The current shareholders of Zee.Dog will be entitled to 5.7% of Petz, which will receive R$ 615 million in the first tranche: 87% in shares and 13% in cash. In the second tranche, Petz will receive R$ 100 million in five years. Zee.Dog estimates a turnover of R$ 230 million in 2021, with 58% of sales through digital means.
