Lefosse advises L’Oréal on the acquisition of Kering Beauté

Lefosse advised on the acquisition, by L’Oréal, of 100% of the shares of Kering Beauté, the parent company of Kering’s beauty business and the indirect parent company of the Creed luxury perfume group.

Prior to completion of L’Oréal’s acquisition of 100% of the shares of Kering Beauté, the relevant Kering entities owner of the brands (as licensor) will enter into a license agreement with Kering Beauté (as licensee), allowing Kering Beauté to use and operate the rights associated with the fragrance, cosmetics, candles and skincare product categories for Bottega Veneta and Balenciaga in all jurisdictions worldwide. The transaction value was EUR 4 billion.
