Lefosse advises Samarco on TGR call option

Lefosse advised Samarco Mineração — currently undergoing judicial reorganization — in connection with the future exercise of a call option to acquire the equity interest held by Ventos de São Rafael Energias Renováveis in TGR Subholding 10. The transaction, valued at BRL 10,266,000, falls within the energy sector and was subject to merger review.

The proposed transaction consists of the future exercise by Samarco of a call option over the stake currently held by Ventos de São Rafael Energias Renováveis in TGR Subholding 10, marking a step in Samarco’s broader restructuring and asset strategy amid its ongoing judicial reorganization proceedings.
