Lefosse and Machado Meyer act in Brisanet’s R$500 million debentures issue
Lefosse Advogados represented Brisanet Serviços de Telecomunicações S.A. and Machado Meyer represented the coordinators Banco Santander (Brasil) S.A., Banco BTG Pactual S.A., XP Investimento Corretora de Câmbio, Títulos e Valores Mobiliários S.A.
Lefosse Advogados acted as advisor to Brisanet Serviços de Telecomunicação S.A. in the 1st issue of non-convertible debentures, in a single series, in the total amount of R$ 500,000,000.00 for public offering, with restricted efforts, according to CVM 476, among other applicable laws and regulations.
The net funds raised by Brisanet through the issue of the debentures will be used for investments related to the development of transmission facilities in Brazil.
The company is a holding company that invests in the Brazilian telecommunications sector and currently operates in the distribution segment in the states of Ceará, Paraíba, Pernambuco and Rio Grande do Norte, and currently aims to expand the FTTH (Fiber To The Home) network of buildings in the states of Rio Grande do Norte, Ceará and Alagoas.
Machado Meyer acted as consultant to the coordinators of the offering, Banco Santander (Brasil) S.A., Banco BTG Pactual S.A., XP Investimento Corretora de Câmbio, Títulos e Valores Mobiliários S.A., preparing and reviewing the offering documents.
