Machado Meyer acted as legal counsel to Laticínios Bela Vista Ltda. and the guarantors in their first securitization transaction, in connection with the public offering of 1st and 2nd series of agribusiness receivables certificates of the 56th issue of Virgo Companhia de Securitização, backed by agribusiness credit rights resulting from the issuance of rural product financial notes by Laticínios Bela Vista Ltda., a company nationally known for the brand Piracanjuba, ranked among the four largest dairy products industries in Brazil.
The funds will be used for the purchase of raw milk as part of the company’s commercial activities.
Machado Meyer advised Laticínios Bela Vista Ltda. and guarantors and was headed by partner Raphael Oliveira Zono (pictured left) and lawyers Mariana Ferreira Rodrigues, Rafaela Alencar Gomes.
