Lefosse advised Opty on the acquisition of Visão Hospital de Olhos, wich was advised by Tauil & Chequer
Lefosse acted as counsel to Grupo Opty (from Patria Investimentos), through its invested companies Saúde Latam Holding S.A., Clínicas do Brasil Holding S/A and HOBRASIL – Hospitais Oftamológicos do Brasil Ltda. in a transaction involving the acquisition of Visão Institutos Holding e Participações Ltda. from its founding shareholders.
The purchase price was paid in cash and in shares of Clínicas do Brasil. Visão Hospital de Olhos is a leading ophthalmology services provider in Brasília.
Lawyers from Tauil & Chequer associated to Mayer Brown advised the sellers in the sale of Visão Hospital de Olhos, a Brazilian institute specialized in ophthalmology, to Opty, the largest ophthalmology group in Latin America, invested by the private equity fund Pátria Investimentos.
The case was led by partner Daniella Raigorodsky Monteiro (pictured left) and senior associate Isabela Corrêa Souza Ribeiro, with the support of associates Sophia De Maio and Giovanna Bakaj.
