Lefosse announces new partner for the Litigation and Arbitration area
Lefosse has announced Diogo Ciuffo Carneiro, who brings his experience to strengthen the team
Diogo Ciuffo (pictured) will strengthen the Litigation and Arbitration area. He has extensive experience in Litigation and Dispute Resolution with an emphasis on complex litigation and domestic and international arbitration.
Ciuffo has represented clients in a wide range of industries, such as: logistics, pulp, energy, construction, hospitality. He has also worked on several highly complex corporate and regulatory disputes.
Managing Partner, Carlos Mello, says that the arrival of the new partner should contribute to the expansion of the Litigation and Arbitration area. “Diogo joins Pedro Maciel, Márcio Opromolla and Raphael Corrêa to bring his experience in mediation, arbitration and highly complex litigation. Besides being a professional with deep technical knowledge, he also shares our firm’s business vision.”
Diogo Ciuffo was a partner at Bichara Advogados and integrated the litigation and arbitration team of large law firms such as Machado Meyer Advogados. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC/RJ), a Master’s Degree in Civil Procedural Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC/SP), and a Master’s Degree in Law from Columbia Law School.
He is a member of several associations and international organizations, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a member of the Inter-American Committee of the New York Bar Association.
