Lefosse assists Arien Invest in structuring FIP
Lefosse Advogados assisted Arien Invest Gestora de Recursos Ltda. in structuring its first infrastructure private equity fund
Lefosse Advogados advised Arien Invest Gestora de Recursos Ltda. on the structuring of its first infrastructure private equity fund, the Arien Energy Ventures I Fundo de Investimento em Participações em Infraestrutura.
The firm also assisted in the public offering with restricted efforts of the fund’s shares. The project involved structuring the vehicle, drafting and negotiating the Fund’s documents, assisting in the public offering, as well as providing regulatory advice regarding the energy projects to be invested in by the Fund. Arien Invest is the Fund’s investment manager.
The Fund issued R$215 million in shares, and its first closing occurred on November 12, 2021. The Fund’s investments are focused on greenfield solar projects in the state of Minas Gerais.
