Lefosse assists Banco Itaú BBA in CEED-D debentures issue

Lefosse Advogados assisted the underwriter, Banco Itaú BBA S.A., in the 1st issue of debentures of Companhia Estadual de Distribuição de Energia Elétrica – CEEE-D

Lefosse Advogados acted as advisor to the underwriter, Banco Itaú BBA S.A., in the 1st issue of non-convertible debentures, with personal guarantee, in two series, in the total amount of R$ 1.5 billion of Companhia Estadual de Distribuição de Energia Elétrica – CEEE-D, for public offering, with restricted efforts, according to rule 476 of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Brazil (CVM).

The net proceeds raised by the company will be used to repay existing debt and used for investments related to the development of transmission facilities.
