Lefosse expands its dispute resolution practice with new partners
Lefosse has announced the arrival of two new partners in the dispute resolution practice: Tomaz Lyra and Marcela Levy are strengthening the team with a focus on resolving large and complex national and international disputes.
They are joined by other four lawyers, including Ricardo Almeida, who holds Master’s and Doctoral degrees from the University of São Paulo (USP) and has 30 years of experience in arbitration and litigation, and joins as counsel.
For almost 20 years, Tomaz Lyra and Marcela Levy have worked together in litigation and arbitration. They have extensive experience in resolving large and complex disputes involving commercial and corporate law, and in disputes in the areas of construction, infrastructure, energy, the financial market, insurance and reinsurance, among others.
Tomaz Lyra acts in judicial litigation and domestic and international arbitration. He has a law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro.
Marcela Levy acts in judicial litigation and domestic and international arbitration. She serves as an arbitrator and is listed on the roster of arbitrators of Brazilian arbitral institutions. She has a law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and an LL.M. from Columbia Law School (USA).
