For Lefosse, 2021 was the best year since the firm began. The firm’s cases increased by 56% across its 20 practices and reached a record $100 billion in M&A transactions.

To celebrate these events the firm announced a new branding project. Lefosse topped the main rankings for M&A, IPO and follow-on transactions (over R$55.8 billion in transactions) and private equity investments (R$15.4 billion), according to the Transactional Track Record (TTR).

Another highlight was the leadership role that the firm assumed in its clients’ ESG agenda, supporting the design and implementation of internal policies, as well as the increase of transactions involving sustainable assets (bonded securities).

The new brand comes as an important element of the firm’s positioning strategy. According to managing partner Rodrigo Junqueira (pictured), the branding project reflects the firm’s evolution and consolidation in recent years.

The idea of the visual design, which comes with a new website, blends modernity and elegance to maintain a dialogue with clients and the other strategic audiences of the company.

This year, the firm increased its number of legal practices to 20 and expanded its partners, lawyers, and administrative staff by 35% after hiring more than 200 professionals.

This growth was supported by a new structure in the Business Services department and an innovative organizational culture project.
