Lefosse has hired Kenneth Antunes Ferreira as Banking partner
Lefosse reinforces its Banking and Finance area with the lateral hire of Kenneth Antunes Ferreira (pictured), a former TozziniFreire partner.
Ferreira has substantial experience in advising financial institutions in connection with regulations issued by the Brazilian Central Bank and the Brazilian Securities Commission. He has more than twenty years of experience in structuring and negotiating documents related to financial and capital markets transactions, notably structured finance transactions and arrives with a team of highly experienced lawyers.
Ferreira received his bachelor’s in law degree from Universidade Paulista – UNIP, holds a Master’s degree in Commercial Law from Pontificia Universidade de São Paulo – PUC-SP, an Executive MBA degree in Corporate Finance from IBMEC-SP. He also earned degrees in Advanced Business Law and International Business Law from Mt San Antonio College in the United States.
Also, he published several articles on Banking law in international publications. Concerning diversity, he stands out for his commitment to causes related to racial inclusion in the legal market. He is one of the promoters of the adoption of methods to reduce elitist recruitment barriers in the law market. He created and led discussion groups on the topic, in addition to having organized several lectures and events to promote diversity and inclusion.
