Lexincorp Honduras strengthens litigation and arbitration practice

Lexincorp Honduras has strengthened its litigation and arbitration practice with the incorporation of lawyers Moisés Arteaga and Fabian Villeda as partners of the firm.

Moises Arteaga of Lexincorp“The decision to increase the number of lawyers in this important area of practice is due to the significant growth it has had especially in matters related to infrastructure, energy and telecommunications projects both from the perspective of structuring the projects and handling arbitration and litigation related to this area,” the law firm said in a statement.

Benito Zelaya, director of the Honduras office, said, “These additions come within the context of the strategic plan of the firm, which has wanted to focus efforts on supporting its clients in structuring infrastructure projects, energy, telecommunications and continue the growth of the already proven experience in managing conflicts that arise within these industries, where the firm has an important position in the market”.

The firm has also strengthened its corporate law and taxes practices with the incorporation of lawyers Allison Velásquez, Juan José Arévalo and Daniela Portillo.

Velásquez will lead the firm’s tax practice and Juan José Arévalo and Daniela Portillo will join the corporate structuring and counseling area.
