Linklaters adds financial counsel to Latin America desk
Linklaters has announced the addition of Alejandro A. Gordano as Counsel to the New York-based finance practice, where he will be a member of the firm’s Latin America group.
Alejandro (pictured) advises corporations, governments and investment banks on international capital markets and banking transactions. He has extensive experience in international equity and debt offerings, both high-yield and investment-grade, including debt offerings by sovereign and quasi-sovereign issuers, as well as liability management transactions.
As director and counsel at Credit Suisse in Zurich, he advised senior management on US securities law matters and filings under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. At Credit Suisse in New York, he provided legal advice to its Latin American structured lending team.
Alejandro joins Linklaters from biotechnology firm Sarepta Therapeutics, where he served as corporate counsel; prior to that he was counsel at the law firm Sherman & Sterling.
He has law degrees from the University of Buenos Aires and New York University School of Law, as well as an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
