Lobo de Rizzo and Machado Meyer act in VLT Carioca deal
Lobo de Rizzo acted as legal counsel to XP Investimentos Corretora de Câmbio e Valores Mobiliários on the sixth issuance of commercial notes by Concessionária do VLT Carioca, which was advised by Machado Meyer Advogados. The transaction valued at R$70 million.
The operation involved a single series of book-entry commercial notes backed by a personal guarantee, distributed publicly under the CVM 160.
Lobo de Rizzo advised XP Investimentos and relied on partner Gustavo Cunha, together with associates Julia Cavasotto Zarth and Luisa Beatriz da Silva.
Machado Meyer Advogados represented Concessionária do VLT Carioca as issuer in the transaction and relied on partner Paulo Markossian Nunes, lawyers Ana Carolina C. Peyres Neves, Giorgia Giocondo and Luana Fleming de Oliveira Conilho.
