Lobo de Rizzo announced the promotion of Natalia Silveira (pictured left), as new partner of the Compliance, Regulatory and Competition areas, and of Andrey Biagini (pictured centre) and José Eduardo Marretti (pictured right), as new partners of the Tax and Corporate, Mergers and Acquisitions areas, respectively.
With extensive experience in Competition Law, Natalia Silveira represents leading companies in their sectors in merger proceedings and investigations before the Brazilian Competition Defense System. She also advises on compliance issues, such as implementation of integrity programs, risk analysis, internal investigations and issues related to anti-corruption legislation. She provides consulting in matters related to regulated sectors, such as education, environment, energy, telecommunications, and regulated professions, among others. She holds a degree in Law from the University of São Paulo (USP) and an LLM in Corporate and Commercial Law from the London School of Economics (LSE).
Andrey Biagini practices in the Tax area (Litigation and Advisory), with emphasis on his performance in complex cases in the automotive and retail sectors. His experience includes auditing and corporate reorganization processes, having acted in high-profile transactions in several sectors of the Brazilian economy, including automotive, retail, agriculture and cattle raising, and education. He holds a law degree from the University of São Paulo (USP) and an LLM in International Tax Law from Leiden University, Netherlands.
José Eduardo Marretti has dedicated his career to Mergers and Acquisitions, Private Equity, Corporate Restructuring, and negotiation of complex contracts, having acted in prominent transactions in various sectors of the economy, including energy, basic sanitation, education, defense, technology, and retail. He has a law degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica (PUC-SP) and an LLM from University College London (distinction, IRE).
