Professor Luiz Carlos Amorim Robortella (pictured), founding partner of Robortella e Peres Advogados and doctor in Labor Law from USP, is the new president of the Brazilian Academy of Labor Law (ABDT) for the 2022/2024 term.

The entity’s vice-president will be the former president of the TST, Carlos Alberto Reis de Paula.

The ABDT, founded in 1978, promotes intense cultural activity through colloquia, symposiums, national and international congresses, as well as the regular publication of collective works by some of Brazil’s leading jurists in the area of labor law.
