M&A is BZCP’s bet for 2024

Founded three years ago by Sergio Bronstein, Eduardo Zilberberg, Pedro Chueiri and Guilherme Potenza, (pictured from left to right), the law firm Bronstein, Zilberberg, Chueiri & Potenza Advogados (BZCP), which specializes in Venture Capital and M&A transactions, has already carried out more than 400 deals since its inception. A reference as a specialist in VC and technology transactions, the firm wants to expand its M&A practice even further by 2024. The expectation is that the area, which has advised on 25 M&As in the last 12 months, involving more than 3 billion reais, will grow by 25% by the end of the year.

The experience of the team, which has an extensive track-record in M&A transactions, is BZCP’s main differential. Although the largest number of mergers and acquisitions carried out by the firm since 2021 has been in the technology sector, it has also advised clients working in retail, real estate, banking and entertainment.

For 2024, BZCP believes that the sectors that will register the most M&A transactions are the technology sector (including AI-related movements), agribusiness, energy, real estate and financial services (fintechs), especially considering consolidation routes, scalability opportunities, greater liquidity of resources and fund divestment movements.
