MACF acts in AT&T share acquisition in Sky Mexico
Mijares Angoitia Cortés y Fuentes has acted as legal counsel to Grupo Televisa in the negotiation with AT&T for the acquisition of AT&T’s equity interest in Sky Mexico, whereby Grupo Televisa becomes the owner of 100% of the capital stock of Sky Mexico.
The consummation of the transaction is subject to certain customary closing conditions, including applicable regulatory approvals.
The transaction was consummated through the sale by AT&T of the equity interests in Innova and Innova Holdings (commercially known as Sky Mexico) owned by AT&T to Sky DTH and San Angel Telecom, subsidiaries of Grupo Televisa.
