MACF appoints two new partners
Mijares Angoitia Cortés y Fuentes has announced the promotion of Luis Pablo Ramírez Martínez and Armando Elsharkawy Martínez as new partners, effective 1 July 2023.
Luis Pablo Ramírez (pictured right) joined MACF in 2012 and is now a partner in the Litigation/Arbitration practice. He has more than fifteen years of experience in various areas of litigation, with an emphasis on administrative litigation. He has represented multiple clients in various types of lawsuits and contentious proceedings, before authorities at the municipal, state and federal level. He also has extensive experience in commercial arbitration; he has participated as counsel in several national and international commercial arbitrations on behalf of our clients.
Armando Elsharkawy (pictured left), partner in the Tax practice, has been a member of the firm since 2008. He has more than fifteen years of experience in tax consulting related to transactions for national and multinational companies, particularly in real estate and infrastructure projects, mergers and acquisitions, corporate and tax restructurings, project finance, specific investment projects and securitizations, as well as consulting related to the application of double taxation treaties and anti-abuse regulations, among others.
