MACF promotes new partners and counsel
Mijares Angoitia Cortés y Fuentes has announced the promotion of Anacandy Perusquía and Fernando Guerrero as partners in the Corporate M&A and Energy and Infrastructure areas, respectively, as well as the appointment of Elian Ávila as counsel for the Antitrust and Data Protection areas. These appointments became effective as of January 1.
Anacandy (pictured left) has a multidisciplinary corporate law practice. She specializes in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and corporate and project finance. His experience includes designing complex legal structures, in domestic and international transactions, advising a diverse range of clients.
Fernando (pictured centre) specializes in administrative and regulatory law. He has worked in infrastructure projects, public-private partnerships and telecommunications, participating in public bids and administrative proceedings before federal and local authorities.
Elian (pictured right) has extensive experience in amparo and contentious-administrative proceedings, and as counsel in antitrust and data protection. She has represented clients in highly complex transactions and in the defense of their interests before regulatory agencies such as IFETEL, COFECE and INAI, and will continue to do so before the entities that replace them.
With these appointments, Mijares now comprises 25 partners, 6 counselors and more than 100 professionals.
