MACF represents Fibra Macquarie in acquisition of Fibra Terrafina certificates
Mijares Angoitia Cortés y Fuentes has represented Fibra Macquarie Mexico in the launch of a tender offer through the Mexican Stock Exchange to acquire up to 100% of Fibra Terrafina’s certificates in exchange for Fibra Macquarie Mexico certificates.
The tender offer was launched amidst other existing tender offers for Fibra Terrafina in an unprecedented competitive process to acquire a Mexican Fibra.
The advisory involved structuring and regulatory matters. Ritch Mueller provided advise to Bank of America.
FIBRA Macquarie Mexico is a real estate investment trust, or FIBRA, listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange that seeks opportunities in industrial, commercial and office real estate in Mexico, with a primary focus on stabilised income-producing properties. FIBRA Macquarie’s portfolio consists of 239 industrial properties and 17 commercial properties, located in 20 cities in 16 Mexican states as of 31 March 2024. Nine of the commercial properties are held through a 50/50 joint venture.
