MACF represents SoftBank in $250m investment

Mijares, Angoitia, Cortés y Fuentes has advised SoftBank Latin America Fund on its 250 million Fintech investment

 Mexican law firm Mijares, Angoitia, Cortés y Fuentes has represented SoftBank Latin America Fund in its $250 million USD dollars investment in partnership with Viking Global Investors LP, in the digital commerce and payments platform, Clip.

This transaction is the largest ever for a fintech in Mexico, making Clip a one-of-a-kind company with a valuation of approximately $2 billion USD dollars.

MACF’s team was led by partners Ricardo Maldonado (pictured right) and Carlos Orcí (pictured left), assisted by associates Elián Ávila, Anacandy Perusquía, Francisco Romero and Iván Arturo Serralde.
