Machado Meyer Advogados advised Grupo GS Souto, Banco ABC Brasil S.A. and True Securitizadora
Machado Meyer Advogados acted as advisor in the structuring of an offering of real estate receivables certificates (CRIs) by True Securitizadora S.A., in the total amount of 43 million reais, to finance the expansion of the development of two special purpose vehicle power plants owned by Grupo GS Souto.
The CRIs were publicly distributed in the Brazilian market under an exempt (non-registered) offer exclusively to professional investors
Machado Meyer Advogados advised Grupo GS Souto (São Félix Energia S.A., Raul Soares Energia S.A., Alto Furnas II Energia S.A., Nova União II Energia S.A., and São Félix II Energia S.A.), Banco ABC Brasil S.A., as lead arranger, and True Securitizadora, as issuer and was led by partner Raphael Oliveira Zono (pictured) and lawyers William Half Rizzi Cavalcante Sa, Helena Daher Rodrigues Moreira and Rafaela Alencar Gomes.
