Machado Meyer act on the acquisition of units by GS1

Machado Meyer acted on the negociation to the acquisition of a corporate units in the PVN Building for the installation of the new headquarters of GS1 Brasil – Associação Brasileira de Automação.

GS1 is a not-for-profit association that develops and maintains global standards for business communication, such as bar coding. The operation also involved the negotiation of fiduciary sale over the acquired future unit in favor of Benx in guarantee of the payment of the balance of the acquisition price.

GS1 will vacate the building in which its current headquarters are located. As a result, the deadline for delivery and completion of the works on the acquired unit is a relevant point of the transaction. Empreendimento Faria Lima 276 is a real estate development developed by Grupo Benx, to be divided into two sub-condominiums, one residential and one corporate. The completion of the works is scheduled for December 2023.
