Machado Meyer advises Ascenty on property expropriation
Ascenty Data Centers and Telecommunications, a technology company, requested a legal opinion from Machado Meyer regarding the expropriation to be carried out by the Municipality of Hortolândia on a portion of property owned by Ascenty for the purpose of implementing a new road access to the property.
The expropriation in question would be extra-judicially carried out, through the execution of an expropriation deed to be celebrated between the parties, in which Ascenty would waive the right to compensation for the expropriated area.
