Machado Meyer advises Braskem on agreement with MPF
Machado Meyer assisted Braskem in complying with the agreements entered with the Federal Prossecutor’s Office – MPF and all legal measures involved in the remediation of socio-environmental damage related to the ground fissures in Maceió, State of Alagoas, due to extraction of rock salt—a type of sodium chloride used in the manufacture of caustic soda and PVC.
The transaction value was BRL 100 million.
