Machado Meyer advises BTG on JV with Senior Sistemas

Machado Meyer advised Banco BTG Pactual with in the formation of a joint venture with Senior Sistemas, with the purpose of creating a platform to offer financial products and services within the management systems of Senior Sistemas to companies.

BTG and Senior shall hold, each, 50% of stake in the joint venture. The closing of the transaction is subject to the approval of the Brazilian antitrust authority (Conselho Administrativo de Defesa Econômica – CADE) and the Central Bank of Brazil (Banco Central do Brasil – BACEN), as well as to implementation other usual conditions precedent for this type of transaction.

The transaction value was not disclosed.
