Machado Meyer team has advised E1 Energias Renováveis S.A. (“E1 Energia”), a company from the State of Ceará that operates in the sector of distributed generation of electric energy, through the leasing of solar plants, in the issuance of 150 thousand long term, debentures, in a single series, by E1 Subholding S.A. (“Issuer”), in the total amount of BRL150 million Brazilian reais, with a 9-year term and remunerated with IPCA + 5.40% p.a.

The lead arranger of the Restricted Offer was Banco Itaú BBA S.A..

The Transaction was extremely innovative for being financing of distributed generation of electric energy, a generation modality in full expansion in Brazil, and that still faces great difficulties to obtain financing, especially in the capital market.

The Machado Meyer team was composed of partners Alberto Faro (pictured left) and Rafael Contin (pictured right) and lawyer Rafaela Tavares Ramos, also trainees Felipe Baracat and Ana Clara Mendonça.
