Machado Meyer advises Linhas de Xingu on 2nd Issue of debentures

Machado Meyer acted as legal counsel to Linhas de Xingu Transmissora de Energia S.A. and Gemini Energy S.A., preparing and reviewing the offering documents

Machado Meyer acted as legal counsel to Linhas de Xingu Transmissora de Energia S.A. and Gemini Energy S.A., in the 2nd issue of debentures, not convertible into shares, with additional personal guarantee, in a single series, for public distribution with restricted placement effort, of Linhas de Xingu Transmissora de Energia S.A., in the total amount of R$120,000,000.00 (one hundred and twenty million reais).

The company operates in a regulated sector, while the issue was composed of infrastructure debentures, under the terms of Law 12,431. In addition, the net proceeds obtained by the company from the issue will be used, in addition to the development of its project, for the payment and settlement of debts previously raised by the company.
